Sessions in English, German, or Danish.
You
You want to grow and you have taken the decision to change something in your life.
Whether you suffer from anxiety, stress, feelings of depression, or loneliness; whether you are in a crisis or feel stuck – you have already taken the first steps towards getting better.
You don’t have to do everything on your own, entirely. It’s okay and good to ask for help.
How I can help
It can feel like a big step to reach out for help and consult a psychologist.
With me you find a protected space, where you can talk freely about everything that concerns you.
In the sessions we meet as equals, where I support you with my expertise and experience, while you are the expert for your life. Nobody knows about your life – but you.
Let me help you activate or (re)discover your resources, your competencies, and skills. Let me help you find your own way.
We can meet for individual or couple sessions in my private practice in Frederiksberg, close to both metro and buses, or have an online session, if that is what fits best into your life.
Prices:
- individual session (50min): 1200,-Kr
- couple session (50min): 1500,-Kr
Contact me for a free 15 minute call, where we can have a first look on your situation and discuss how we can work together.
As I am authorized by Psykolognævnet (The Danish Supervisory Board of Psychological Practice), you might be able to get a subsidy for the sessions. Please, contact your insurance company for further information.
About me
Before I became a psychologist, I was working as a mathematician in risk management of a Danish Bank. After some time I found out that I’d rather work with and for people and studied psychology. I still like numbers and I might utilize them in our sessions from time to time.
I have a masters’ degree in clinical and health psychology from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany. After my studies and a training in solution-based systemic therapy and counseling at LöWe, I returned to Copenhagen. I have completed a supplementary, practical education and am authorized by Psykolognævnet (The Danish Supervisory Board of Psychological Practice). In my private practice I am working with danish and international clients.
I know life as an expat with all the challenges posed by a new culture and a new environment.
In my work I use concepts and methods from systemic and narrative therapy, short-term interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy, and Acceptance-Commitment therapy. I focus on your needs and tailor sessions in such a way, that you benefit the most.
